SEARCH DEFINITION AND STRATEGY
Extensive client interviews.
Define responsibilities and critical success factors for the role.
Develop detailed position specification.
Customize strategy and research plan that targets the best source of qualified candidates.
CANDIDATE DEVELOPMENT
Develop comprehensive research on all companies targeted in the search strategy.
Source candidates through the Equinox database and personal industry networks.
Thorough evaluation of candidates and informal references.
Conduct face-to-face interviews and candidate evaluations.
CANDIDATE PRESENTATIONS
Aim to present an initial slate of 2-3 candidates within the first 4 weeks of launching the assignment.
Develop written candidate evaluations, summarizing their backgrounds and assessing strengths and weaknesses.
Position specifications, reevaluate compensation parameters or search strategies, if required, and continue recruiting.
CANDIDATE SELECTION AND PLACEMENT
Typically, we present a total slate of 4-6 candidates.
Conduct formal reference checks on finalist candidate.
Negotiate compensation and related employment issues.
Maintain ongoing dialogue with candidate to ensure acceptance of offer.
