It seems like yesterday that the year began with the warm and toasty glow of a hot market, and mega deals followed to prove it (cheers to the Equity and Archstone shareholders), and then the subprime debacle erupted in August and shook the growing house of cards. Job freezes followed in the fourth quarter, and everyone, at every fall conference, debated the outcome. What is in store for 2008? Tune in next week and I'll provide my prognostications for the New Year. In the meantime, enjoy the very quiet and relaxing week ahead.
